In a post on his social media platform Real Social, US President Donald Trump said: "Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonald just said that protesters are becoming more and more radical and he will'have to reassess the situation 'to decide whether to send [US National Guard] troops. He should act now! Don't let these thugs get away with it." Trump also said, "The situation in Los Angeles is very bad! Send troops in!", "Arrest people wearing masks immediately!" (Kim Ten)
